District Energy St. Paul is offering a free, 60-minute, interactive classroom presentation called Survivor – Energy Planet: “Red Hot, Cool & Green™”! This presentation teaches students how a district heating and cooling system works and the difference between renewable fuels and fossil fuels, all done in a fun and fast-paced format. The program emphasizes key science concepts sixth grade students are expected to learn and encourages them to use math, social studies and English.
All teachers need to supply is the time, between 10 and 40 students and a few minor set-up needs (table, chair, power, etc.)!
Students may be photographed, so parental permission slips are required to be on file. Please note that the presentation is currently being offered to students in Saint Paul Public Schools. A future expansion is planned.
To reserve a date and time, please download this Presentation Request Form, print, complete and fax to 651.297.0263.
