2012 Calendar of eventsAs we move into 2012, the District Energy team gathers to consider our vision, mission and our core values to determine how we can best utilize our resources to participate with our customers and the community in upcoming events. Every season offers the opportunity to contribute our time and talent in some manner that is beneficial to our organization and beyond. Events this spring include: Earth Day, Customer Appreciation Day , the Great River Gathering, Festival of Trees and the Living Green Expo. Later in the summer, we will again appear at the Sustainability Stage at the Minnesota State Fair. Intermingled in this mix of happenings, we will organize several Lunch ‘n Learns for building engineers to cover topics that address maintenance issues and building efficiency. In the fall we will hold our Operating Engineers’ Seminar. This popular event is informative and offers the opportunity for the building engineers to meet our customer service and distribution staff.
