What is District Energy?

Today in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and cities all over the world, district energy systems provide heating and cooling to public spaces such as commercial buildings, condominiums, hotels, sports facilities, universities and government complexes.

District Heating

District Energy St. Paul currently provides heating service to more than 185 buildings and 300 single-family homes, representing over 31.8 million square feet of building space, or 80 percent of St. Paul's central business district and adjacent areas.
