In 1983, District Energy St. Paul began providing hot water heating to downtown Saint Paul. We are proud to have four employees that have been with here since the beginning who are sharing their 40-year anniversaries this year. John Skeie, Joe Lee, Jeff Amacher, and Ron Anderson have served in operations through incredible growth of heating service and major milestones like the introduction of cooling, biomass combined heat and power, solar thermal, as well as the retirement of coal.
