Karly Baraga Werner serves as Senior Vice President, External Affairs and Chief Legal Officer for Ever-Green Energy, leading government relations, external affairs and stakeholder engagement efforts.

Karly brings more than two decades of experience working at the intersection of law, public policy, and business strategy. Most recently, she served as Vice President of External Affairs for Comcast’s Midwest Region, where she led government relations, community impact, and communications across a multi-state region and advised executive leadership on regulatory strategy, legal risk, and public policy matters.

Earlier in her career, Karly practiced law at Dorsey & Whitney LLP in Minneapolis and Kelley Drye & Warren LLP in Washington, D.C., representing regulated companies in multi-jurisdictional transaction and regulatory proceedings before federal and state agencies.

Karly holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Colorado State University. She has been recognized with multiple leadership honors, including the Women in Business Award from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and recognition as one of Twin Cities Business’s Notable Women in Technology.
